Private Equity Can Improve Employee Relations, EVCA and CMBOR Find

Private equity ownership of a company often has a positive impact on employee relations, according to a new study by the Centre for Management Buyout Research, conducted in association with the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
The study looked at measures including changes to real earnings, occupational pension schemes, employee consultative committees and trades union relations. Across these criteria, private equity involvement either made no difference to existing relations or had a positive effect.
