In hard times, the banks are known to shut their doors to small businesses looking for capital. But a Toronto financial expert says there’s a window of opportunity for entrepreneurs looking for growth capital now, but it may not be open long.
The source is U. S. private equity investors — not a group you would think of as white knights. But if you’re a manufacturer with an in-demand product, or a distributor with exclusive rights to well-established goods or services, these Yankee peddlers may just have the money you need to sell your company, expand, pull off an acquisition or fund a management buyout.
