UK PE-backed buy-outs show marked recovery in 2010

The overall value of private equity-sponsored UK buy-outs in the first half of 2010 has already overtaken the 2009 full year transaction value by 67 per cent, reaching £7.9bn (€9.6bn) compared to £4.7bn (€5.7bn), according to new data.
