The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is holding a Silicon Valley Forum on November 15th 2011, at the Palo Alto offices of Cooley LLP. Please join OPIC staff for an afternoon forum to learn about the agency and to learn how businesses and private equity funds can benefit from the innovative financing OPIC provides for overseas investments. Of particular interest to institutional limited partners will be OPIC’s presentation on its Investment Funds program given by Jay Koh, Head of Investment Funds and OPIC’s Chief Investment Strategist. Jay recently spoke at ILPA’s Annual Member Conference in Vancouver about OPIC’s experience as an emerging markets private equity investor. After a series of presentations by OPIC’s staff in the afternoon, an informal evening networking reception will follow from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Both GPs and LPs are expected to be in attendance at this event.
