Professional Development Seminar Series
The ILPA initiated its Professional Development Seminar Series to provide members with additional professional development opportunities outside of the ILPA Institute, Webcasts and Workshops. These sessions are led by third-party private equity specialists, who customize their programs exclusively for the ILPA.

Manager Selection and Monitoring: Systematically Measuring the Quality of Information Provided during GP Interviews using Business Intelligence Advisors’ Proprietary Methodology – Business Intelligence Advisors
- A workshop that draws upon the techniques and experience of the intelligence community’s leading interview and interrogation experts. The workshop has been tailored specifically for private equity investors and will teach participants how to prepare for and execute on general partner interviews using proprietary evaluation and strategic interview techniques developed by Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA).
Portfolio Design, Monitoring and Management – Pierre-Yves Mathonet, European Investment Fund and Thomas Meyer, EVCA
- A workshop that allows participants to examine how they can add value to their Private Equity (PE) or Venture Capital (VC) funds investment process by more advanced portfolio design, monitoring and management.
Qualitative Due Diligence: Assessing People Risks in Fund Investment – ghSMART
- A workshop designed to provide participants with practical tools and best practices to effectively assess people risks in private equity fund investments through improved interview techniques and skills.
