The Oregon State Treasury is the state’s public financial services hub. The investment division managed assets of $100.7 billion as of June 30, 2018. The largest fund in that portfolio is the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, a trust fund that stood at $74.5 billion AUM on the same date. Oregon was among the first public funds to invest in private equity, and today those assets comprise roughly 20 percent of OPERF. In addition to the pension fund, the division manages the State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF), the Oregon Short Term Fund (OSTF), the Common School Fund, and several state agency fixed income portfolios.
