Suyi is a founding senior member of CPPIB Asia and currently responsible for leading Private Investments in Asia with a focus in Funds & Secondaries. Suyi joined CPPIB from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan where she focused on private equity funds & co-investments in Asia, Europe and the U.S. Prior to that she was with The Carlyle Group Asia making direct private equity investments in Asia. Suyi also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and an auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers. She received her MBA from Stanford Business School and a B.A. from Seoul National University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
