Brian O'Neil, M.B.A., joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation as chief investment officer in January, 2003. Previously, O'Neil worked for more than 20 years at the Equitable Life Assurance Society, where he held a variety of positions, including chief investment officer. He also spent three years working at Equitable's parent company, the AXA Group, in Paris, France, in an investment management post. He received an M.B.A. from the Columbia Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. in sociology from Princeton University and is a trustee of the Museum of Biblical Art.
