Diloshini (Dilo) Seneviratne is an Investment Officer in the Alternative Investments Unit of CalSTRS. Her responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and recommending private equity investments in buyout, venture capital, distressed debt, and equity expansion funds, as well as manage a diverse portfolio of limited partnerships. Prior to joining CalSTRS, Ms. Seneviratne worked for CalPERS and managed over $2.5 billion of their Global Real Estate investments. Prior to that she worked for the California State Controller. She also worked in Sri Lanka as a qualified Chartered Secretary in a large private company and took that company public through an IPO process. Ms. Seneviratne holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the California State University, Sacramento. She is also an Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, UK graduate.
