Stephen joined QIC in 2008. Stephen has 20 years of experience in global private equity direct and fund investing. Stephen leads GPE's US office located in San Francisco and is responsible for the coverage of the US market. Stephen also acts as CIO of GPE and co-ordinates the internal investment processes of the business. From 1999 to 2006, Stephen helped build and manage a AUD1.5 billion global private equity program for MLC Limited, which was the first of its kind in Australia. From 1992 to 1999, he worked at Lend Lease Corporation, firstly in project finance and then in direct infrastructure investment. Prior to working at Lend Lease Corporation, he has worked in the project finance division of Schroders Australia Ltd from 1988 to 1992. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Law from Sydney University, Australia.
