With diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) cemented as critical strategic priorities for institutional investors, the dust is beginning to settle on approaches to operationalizing DEI-related commitments.
In this Compass Series event, we will feature one of the most prominent collective efforts, ILPA’s Diversity in Action initiative, in addition to the work of leading allocators Ford Foundation, Hamilton Lane and PGIM Investments.
Together, we will discuss the two key pillars of Diversity in Action:
A commitment from investors to foundational DEI-related activities, including the tracking of diversity metrics and the implementation of inclusive recruitment and retention policies; and
The combined force of a rapidly growing community of over 200 signatories representing both LPs and GPs.
The ILPA investor community has become an invaluable resource for sharing knowledge and best practices, including on specific DEI-focused investment programs, a number of which we will be highlighting in this session.
