Daniel Cook is the global head of quantitative research and market intelligence at PitchBook, leading the firm’s data analysis function across both the US and EMEA regions. Cook launched the firm’s quantitative research and IP development efforts, leading to projects such as PitchBook’s investor style framework and fund cash flow models. He also oversees the production of all data sets leveraged in PitchBook’s asset class and emerging technology research.
Prior to this role, Cook worked on PitchBook’s secondary research team. He received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Santa Clara University and is a CFA charterholder. He is based in PitchBook’s Seattle office.
