October 23,2017 Final meeting schedules released to all attendees THE MEETING SCHEDULING PROCESS Meeting selections occur over a two week period in late September. Each organization must log into the meeting system to view a pre-filtered list of registered firms to meet with that match the initial investment criteria provided by the lead registrant. From this list, they will “rank” firms with whom they wish to meet based on a scoring system. Attendees will be provided with the GP participant list in an Excel file (to filter by sector, fund size or geography), or in a PDF (which includes detailed profile and fund history) to assist in the ranking process. For each GP ranking you must provide: l Rank using the following scale: l Category 1: Ideal l Category 2: Preferred l Category 3: Neutral l Category 4: Prefer not to meet with l Category 5: Cannot meet with l Investor Status: Existing Investor or Prospective Investor l Knowledge level: Familiar or Unfamiliar During the optimization process, the ILPA’s algorithm will translate LP and GP selections into a specially designed scoring system. Meetings are then populated based on a combined GP/LP score, prioritizing the best scores to indicate mutual interest. The goal of the system is to fill LPs and GPs meeting schedules with their top preferences.
