Participants will be exposed to actual manager and management team situations, behaviors and probabilities that are generally concealed from the limited partner community. In addition, candid discussions with industry practitioners and the practical experiences of participants will be called upon by expert-level moderators to bring meaningful insights, diligence tools, protective measures, mitigation techniques and solutions to the forefront. The course is designed for limited partner practitioners that are responsible for making judgments in regard to fund selection, follow-on funding, limited partner advisory committee participation and actions, and private equity diligence. AN INSIDER’S LOOK AT PRIVATE EQUITY MANAGERS PRE-REQUISITE Threeormoreyearsof experiencedirectlymanagingandmonitoring a private equity program. Applicants that are interested in participating in this ILPA Institute Level II program that do not meet these experience requirements are required to have completed the ILPA Institute’s Level I program and submit a letter of endorsement on company letterhead.The letter of endorsement will establish that the applicant exhibits managerial and leadership potential. They must also demonstrate a level of professional poise and financial acumen necessary to contribute to a senior learning environment. In addition to these standard Level II prerequisites, Module 4 applicants are strongly encouraged to attend Level II, Module 1: Legal Documents prior to participating in Module 4.
