b'ILPA ANNUAL REPORT 201910CONNECTING LP STHROUGH UNIQUE EVENTS AND FORUMSILPA continued to connect our limited partner members with one anotherand with stakeholders in the private equity industry at large through a multitude of in-person and virtual forums.Our third annual European Forum in London, UK took place in February, and inspired us to expand and elevate this yearly event to serve as both a members forum and a private equity industry summit, to bring our long time matching model to the European market. Our work began in earnest during 2019 to plan for our inaugural European Summit which will be held in January 2020, combining interactive workshops and seminars with unprecedented opportunities for LPs outside North America to build relationships with the GP community.In the Spring, ILPA hosted in Washington DC our first Private Equity Legal Conference for members operating in a legal capacity. We quickly understood the value of such a gathering with a sell-out crowd and substantial wait list to attend this unique event. As a result, our 2020 conference will expand significantly with a larger venue and robust agenda to meet the needs of this important group of members.Our Members Conference in Chicago continued to welcome hundreds of engaged and energized attendees. MCON has become the go-to annual gathering of limited partners that is not to be missed. We intend to continue to evolve this experience to meet the demands of a dynamic market with even more opportunities to interact and share best practices in person. Our CIO Symposium at the Harvard Club in Cambridge was held in that same spirit in September, bringing together thought leaders from some of the worlds most engaged institutional investors for a full day of learning and sharing with one another. The year culminated with our 15th Annual ILPA Summit in NYC where we once again catered to a record number of LPs, GPs and service providers in the PE industry. The first week of November we connected 650+ professionals in more than 1,400 meetings over the course of three days. The Summit also saw an expanded Emerging Manager Showcase, and the addition of content specifically for this this unique audience. We look forward to many years of relationship building through this premier event, which continues to draw a spectacular crowd.'
