Andrew is a scientist by training that has since transitioned into the private sector where he leverages his background to strengthen responsible investment strategies in the financial sector. He graduated with his MA in Conservation Biology at Columbia University, where he studied the impact of climate-driven stress on tropical forests. Andrew’s work has since been published by the Ecological Society of America. Andrew was formerly a Magazine Editor and Columnist with Impakter Magazine, where he often wrote about the UN Sustainable Development Goals,, a U.S. State Department Fellow, and Environment and Sustainability Delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations. With extensive global experience in private and nonprofit sectors, I have a diverse background in foreign language, writing, research, and analytics.
Currently, Andrew is a Senior Consultant at ERM as a member of the Transaction Advisory team, where he has leveraged his passion for sustainability and turned it into action for the private sector. Andrew manages global, multi-site environmental, social, and governance (ESG) due diligence projects as well as corporate-level sustainability assessments for private equity clients. He has broad experience in ESG due diligence in a range of sectors, and across a broad range of geographies. He conducts portfolio wide ESG risk and opportunity analyses for private equity clients and regularly supports clients in developing their ESG strategy and programs including but not limited to sustainability reporting.
