Jason Sass

Jason is Deputy General Counsel at the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, where he is responsible for investment transactions on behalf of the Department’s Investment Management Division. Prior to joining NCDST, Jason worked in house with a private equity investment company in Taipei, where he handled fund formation and administration, private equity investments, and general corporate matters. Before going in house, Jason was a senior associate with a number of global law firms, working in Beijing, Tokyo, and Charlotte, North Carolina, and specializing in cross-border transactions, real estate investment and finance, and structured finance. Jason holds a Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
