This webcast was an industry-wide discussion on ILPA’s draft Continuation Vehicle (CV) Guidance, which was held in July 2026 during the public comment period on the draft guidance.
The webcast features perspectives from the ILPA staff behind the project to develop the comment period draft of the new guidance, who dive into the updates and provide insights into ILPA’s approach to preparing ILPA’s current CV Guidance that has since been released. The aim of the comment period was to ensure the new guidance reflected current market practice reflecting the full industry’s perspective.
ILPA’s new CV guidance released in 2026, Continuation Vehicles: Advancing Alignment Through Best Practices, is intended to ensure GPs run CV processes based on improved conflicts management, a strong evidenced commercial rationale, fair and defensible pricing, and robust process integrity. It is aimed at addressing GP-LP alignment challenges and enabling LPs to be informed participants in these transactions.
