Chris Eckerman

Chris Eckerman is a Senior Portfolio Manager and head of Private Equity Co-Investments at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (SWIB). Chris leads a team which has sourced and executed approx. $3.0 billion in co-investments across private equity and private credit in the U.S. and Europe. SWIB manages roughly $150 billion in assets, including the Wisconsin Retirement System, which is the eighth largest U.S. public pension fund. Chris joined SWIB in 2013 and has over 20 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining SWIB, Chris spent ten years with Covera Ventures (fka Hunt Ventures) where he was responsible for the origination and execution of venture capital and growth equity investments. Chris holds a B.B.A in Finance and M.B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin.
