Davis Thacker is Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Development at Carta. Davis oversees Carta’s acquisition strategy and works closely with Carta’s CEO on strategic projects across the company.
Prior to Carta, Davis was a growth equity investor at Adams Street Partners, a multi-billion dollar multi-strategy firm in Menlo Park. Prior to Adams Street, Davis was an investment banker at Stifel covering software companies across M&A and capital raising activities.
Davis graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a BS in Finance and Marketing.
