Jackie Hoffmann is a Managing Director for the private equity advisory services within Siemens Venture Capital (SVC). Jackie joined SVC in June 2000, responsible for venture capital investments related to enterprise networks, hosted office and security. Her investments included Voltage Security, PSS Systems (acquired by IBM), Media5, Oblix (acquired by Oracle), Blue Pumpkin (acquired by Witness Systems), Nimcat Networks (acquired by Avaya) and Teamplate (acquired by Captaris). Since 2007, Jackie has been responsible for investments in US leveraged buy-out funds as well as investments in secondary funds worldwide. Before joining the Siemens Venture Capital team in 2000, Jackie directed the Applications and Pricing Business Administration teams at Siemens Information and Communication Networks in Santa Clara, California. Prior to that she held a variety of management positions in the finance and business adminstration organizations at Siemens and, prior to joining Siemens, spent 5 years in the finance organization at Intel. Jackie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. She received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.
