Kent is an Investment Manger on the Private Equity team at the Texas Teachers Retirement System, where he focuses on co-investments. He has been with TRS for over four years, during which time he has co-invested across industries within both buyout and venture capital.
Prior to joining TRS, Kent spent time in Finance & Strategy roles at UpEquity, a VC-backed start-up. Prior to UpEquity, Kent worked at Peak Rock Capital, an Austin, TX based private equity firm, where he focused on acquisition underwriting and portfolio company management. Previously, Kent worked in Investment Banking at BMO on the Food, Consumer & Retail team.
Kent holds a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
