Michael E. Aswad joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2007 and currently serves as the Managing Director of Private Investments. Michael is responsible for managing RWJF’s global portfolio of private equity draw-down funds across the buyout, VC, real assets, and credit/distressed asset classes. Prior to joining the Foundation, Michael founded a consulting firm providing corporate finance, strategic, investment, and operational advisory services. Previously, over an 18-year career, Michael was a senior investment banker with J.P. Morgan and Banc of America Securities in their respective Financial Institutions Groups
Michael received a dual degree in Economics and Business from The University Chicago, and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
