Simon Garfield

Simon is responsible for working with the firm’s European, Middle Eastern and Australian clients on portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations and regular portfolio updates across their alternative investment programs.
Simon started his career in with HSBC in 2003 and prior to joining Aksia Europe, he was Head of Portfolio Management at HSBC Alternative Investments Limited. At HSBC, Simon held several roles in alternative investments research and portfolio management.
Simon graduated from Oxford University with a first-class honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and received a MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics. He is a CFA charterholder.
