Criteria, Fees and Application Request

We are excited about your interest in becoming an ILPA Member. Please review the below criteria before submitting your membership application request.

Membership Criteria

As defined by the bylaws of the ILPA Board of Directors, ILPA membership is limited to institutions (and individuals within those institutions) that invest or intend to invest in a portfolio of private market funds or direct investments primarily for their own account. To be eligible for ILPA membership, an applying organization must meet the following criteria:

  • My organization is actively investing in private markets as an institutional investor through any limited partner (LP) vehicle including funds, fund of funds and co-investments.
  • My organization primarily invests captive capital (e.g., invests less than 50 percent on behalf of clients or from sources other than our own or affiliate’s balance sheet).
  • My organization is not a service provider or consultant.

Membership Fee Structure

Membership fees are determined by the members’ Total AUM (USD) and effective for a 12-month term. Each organization’s membership is available to all internal professional staff dedicated to investment-related activities; please view the ILPA Membership Guidelines for additional details.

This annual price adjustment allows us to continue delivering the high-quality service and value that you’ve come to expect from us. We’ve worked hard to keep prices stable; this modest increase each year will help us maintain and enhance your experience moving forward.

You asked and we listened; the last time we increased our prices we heard that our members understood the need for a price increase but wanted to have the increase in a smaller amount more often.
