Overview
The Secondary Fund Modeling course is designed for the limited partner looking for a hands-on understanding of secondary interest in private equity funds. Participants will be given a framework to assess a secondary opportunity and utilize a custom excel model to learn how to integrate the secondary opportunity into your investment program.
This live, faculty-led program combines lecture-based learning with interactive networking and group work elements, featuring a custom secondaries model designed uniquely for LPs by LPs.

This program is part of the ILPA Institute’s Intensive series of courses, which means this program is designed for the limited partner with more than three years of experience in private equity and is suitable for organizations who current invest in secondaries and who are looking at the opportunity.

Key Learning Objectives

PROGRAM LEVEL: Intermediate
PRE-REQUISITE: Participants should have some financial modeling and significant private equity knowledge from prior work experience. A proficiency in Excel is necessary to gain the most value from the course.
DELIVERY METHOD: Group-Live
Each participant will be required to bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel. Any of the following versions of Excel is fine for the program (Excel 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2014).
CREDIT: Earn 7 CPE Credits

State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
