Updated ILPA Templates Hub

The updated ILPA Reporting Template and the new ILPA Performance Template were developed through a collaborative industry effort and released in 2025. Both templates are intended to supplement the quarterly reporting provided by GPs as part of their standard reporting package, including financial statements (i.e., audited and unaudited financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS or other comprehensive basis of accounting) as mandated by the Fund’s Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) and other governing documents and/or jurisdictional requirements.

The updated ILPA Reporting Template is intended to replace the 2016 ILPA Reporting Template on a go-forward basis for Funds still in their investment period during Q1 2026 or for Funds commencing operations on or after January 1, 2026. The Performance Template should be used on a go-forward basis for Funds commencing operations on or after January 1, 2026.

Most recently, ILPA has refreshed the ILPA Capital Call & Distribution Template, aligning it with the ILPA Reporting Template and ILPA Performance Template. Developed through extensive industry collaboration, the updated Template provides users with an enhanced framework for capturing the accounting details within capital call and distribution notices. The updated ILPA Capital Call & Distribution template is intended to supplement the standard call or distribution notice provided by GPs and is intended to replace the 2011 Template on a go-forward basis. Funds adopting the new Performance template should use the updated Capital Call & Distribution Template for funds launched on or after Q1 2026. For all other funds, the updated Capital Call & Distribution should be used only if the fund is launched on or after Q1 2027. In all cases, first delivery of the updated Template will not be required until Q1 2027.
