Han Hu is a Private Equity and Mezzanine Senior Portfolio Manager at Aegon Asset Management, responsible for management of private equity and private credit partnership investments; the commitment of new capital to partnerships on a primary and secondary basis; and investing subordinated debt and private equity capital in companies on a direct basis. Prior to joining Aegon in 2019, he was a portfolio manager at Prosperity Life Insurance Group, a Reservoir Capital portfolio company, focused on private equity and credit investments. Prior to Prosperity, he was a vice president at Reservoir Capital focused on direct private equity and mezzanine investments and private equity seeding. Prior still, Han was an analyst at Silver Point Capital focused on distressed and special situation investments, and an associate at Morgan Stanley focused on structured credit.

Han graduated summa cum laude from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania with a BAS from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a BSE from the Wharton School. He received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar.
