Afsaneh Lebel is an Associate in the Funds and Secondaries team within Private Investments at the CPP Investment Board. She joined CPPIB in 2009 and is based in CPPIB's Toronto office. Ms. Lebel is primarily responsible for analyzing, executing and monitoring private equity fund investments in North America, Europe and Latin America. She was previously with UBS Investment Bank in Toronto and Montreal, focused on mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. Ms. Lebel obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Great Distinction) with a Major in Finance from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder. She has been a member of the ILPA Education Committee since February 2012.
