Mr. Bron joined Pine Brook in December 2013 as a managing director on the financial services investment team. He is also a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Bron currently is chairman of the board of United PanAm Financial Corp, a Pine Brook investment. Mr. Bron has more than 40 years of financial services experience, including 20 years in the private equity industry. Mr. Bron was a founding and managing partner of ACON-Bastion Partners II. Prior to his involvement in ACON, he spent eight years as a founder and the managing partner of Bastion Capital; the first private equity fund primarily focused on the U.S. Hispanic market. His experience also includes six years as a managing director at Drexel Burnham Lambert, leading their Latin American Corporate Finance Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bron was an investment officer at World Bank's International Finance Corp. Mr. Bron holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
