ILPA European Forum
February 2017 | London, England
As part of the ILPA’s focus on growing the membership globally, the European Forum, held February 7 & 8 in London, England, was created to bring the central education and networking elements the ILPA is known for to a more time and cost-efficient location for our European members.
Recognizing that it can be difficult to travel to the annual Members’ Conference, this forum is a complementary event featuring a similar style agenda shortened to one-day and with content customized by the local members.
The 2017 agenda featured workshops around board governance, co-investing and private equity accounting, followed by peer-led roundtables to discuss the topics in more depth and exchange experiences. A networking dinner kicked off the event, which also included keynote speaker Natalie Jaresko, Former Finance Minister of Ukraine and a panel session on private equity in the media.
After the success of the inaugural event earlier this year, we are delighted to announce our return to London in February 2018 for the second annual forum. Details to come in autumn 2018.
The registration fee is subsidized for members to ensure accessibility and affordability, and although grounded in the priorities of the local audience, the event is “European” in name only; ILPA members from all regions are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend.
