Members’ Conference – May 31 – June 2 | Boston, MA
The ILPA recently held its annual Members’ Conference, bringing together the membership for a three day gathering in a unique, LP-only environment.
Over 275 LPs participated in interactive, educational workshops, shared best practices, discussed regulatory and organizational changes, all the while making new connections and strengthening existing relationships. All content was exclusively customized for limited partners.
The 2017 agenda featured nine educational workshops from which to choose. Workshop topics were sourced directly from the membership and covered a range of issues including due diligence, legal concepts, financial statement red flags, investing in different market environments, among others. Two additional workshops were available as part of the senior stream, with topics specifically chosen to address the top of mind issues of senior heads of private equity and CIOs. Our time together also included keynote sessions, peer-led roundtables and other topical sessions which provide opportunities to deep dive into a current industry issue.
All workshop presentations are available to members online in the document library, including topics from this year and all past conferences.
This year also featured new “Meet and Greet” social events to increase networking time. Hosted by ILPA Partners, these “pop-up” style events offered attendees the opportunity to kick-off the conference by networking with others in a variety of settings. This year also saw the return of the Partner Expo, a chance for ILPA Partners to interact with hand-picked industry service providers throughout our exhibit foyer.
The Members’ Conference registration fee is subsidized for members to ensure accessibility and affordability, and the conference location changes annually.
