Description:

Join ILPA’s Legal Advisory Council on December 8, 2021 for our Quarterly Legal Town Hall. This quarter’s Legal Town Hall will include a discussion of the future of the LP legal technology space and the next generation of legal technology providers and solutions.

After the presentation, we will enjoy a robust discussion and Q&A where panelists will address questions submitted prior to the live town hall as well as entertain real-time submissions.

 

Robert E. McGrail

Head of Legal and Compliance, Duke Management Company

Mr. McGrail is the Head of Legal & Compliance at DUMAC, Inc., a professionally staffed investment organization controlled by Duke University. Before joining DUMAC, Mr. McGrail was an associate at Akin Gump and Proskauer Rose, where his practice focused on investment funds. Mr. McGrail received both his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia.

C. Ndu Ozor

Associate General Counsel, University of Michigan Endowment

Ndu Ozor advises his U-M clients on various business and transactional matters, primarily focusing on investments in domestic and international private investment funds, including hedge funds, venture capital funds, managed accounts, other private investment funds and direct investments, secondaries transactions, venture financings, automated vehicles, and general corporate governance. Prior to joining the Office of the Vice President and General Counsel, Ndu was in the private equity group of Perkins Coie LLP, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, finance and venture financings. Ndu began his legal career in Chicago as an associate in the private equity group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Ndu is also an alum earning a juris doctor cum laude as a Darrow Scholar and bachelor’s degree with distinction.
